How to renew your Maryland pest control license

Renewal deadline · Renewal Deadlines: Business Licenses, Public Agency Permits, Not-for-Hire Licenses, Inactive Certificates: June 30. Private Applicator Licenses, Dealer Permits, Consultant Licenses: December 31.

  1. Review your renewal postcard sent annually by MDA.

  2. Visit the online renewal portal at https://egov.maryland.gov/mda/pesticides.

  3. Select "I want to begin a license renewal application."

  4. Enter your business license/permit number and renewal code.

  5. Verify and update required business details.

  6. Update and verify employee information.

  7. Upload CEU certificates or select courses from the system.

  8. Ensure each employee shows "Information Provided."

  9. Proceed to Sign and Certify and re-enter the renewal code.

  10. Submit payment through the secure payment page.

  11. Once approved, print your renewed business license/permit and certificates.
