How to renew your Florida pest control license

Renewal deadline · Florida pesticide applicator licenses are valid for four years and expire on June 30 of the expiration year. Renewal notices are typically sent approximately 60 days before expiration.

  1. Identify your license type and confirm your expiration date.

  2. Choose your recertification method: earn CEUs or retake the certification exams.

  3. Complete all required Core and Category-specific CEUs if renewing by education.

  4. Submit your renewal application and supporting documentation to FDACS.

  5. Pay the applicable renewal fees before the expiration date.

  6. If renewing late, submit the required affidavit and late fee.

  7. Confirm your renewed license status before purchasing or applying restricted-use pesticides.
